The 2026 State Branch Conference Chairman, Mrs. Natacha Abayomi, MCIPM, reinforced the call for private sector engagement.

“This time around, we want to reach out to the private sector. The theme of our conference this year is ‘People First: How do we create sustainable organizations through people?’ In the current economic environment, we want to learn how business leaders continue to put people first,” she explained.

Responding on behalf of Sunbeth Global Concepts Limited, the Managing Director, Mr. Paul Adeboye, expressed appreciation for CIPM’s regulatory and developmental role in human resource management.

“We are here to support the environment and the community we operate in. Human resource is very important to us as a business. Whatever we have or do, without the right human resource, the journey will be difficult,” he said.

Mr. Adeboye commended CIPM for its ongoing training and education of their staff, noting that the company has active members of the Institute. He pledged support for the conference, including potential participation on the panel.

“We will see how we can accommodate this. It’s not something difficult for us to do… In all phases of employee management, people are very important. We just finished a training two weeks ago. We don’t have a problem at all,” he added.

The visit underscores CIPM Ondo State Branch’s commitment to strengthening partnerships between the Institute and leading private sector organizations to promote excellence in people management practices, and was concluded with the presentation of branded CIPM gifts and group photographs.
