On Tuesday, 14th July 2026, members of the Executive Committee (Exco) of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM), Ondo State Branch, paid a courtesy visit to the management of Johnvents FMCG in Idanre, Ondo State.
The delegation was led by the Branch Chairman, Mrs. Pamela Elekwachi, MCIPM, and included Mr. Olusola Lebile, ACIPM, Immediate Past Chairman, Mr. Omolade Sunday Omirin, ACIPM, Vice Chairman, Mrs. Oladipo Bosede, ACIPM Treasurer, Mr. Gbadebo Oyewo, ACIPM Assistant General Secretary/PRO, Mr. Adebayo Daniel, ACIPM General Secretary and Mrs. Natacha Abayomi, MCIPM, 2026 State Conference Planning Chairman.
The team was warmly received by the Acting Business Head of Johnvents FMCG, Dr. Omotomilola Omotosho, alongside Mr. Nura Muhammed (Operations Manager), Mrs. Oluwaseun Oludotun-Falayi (HR Manager) and Mr. Seyi Akinbamire (Admin Manager).
In her opening remarks, Mrs. Elekwachi highlighted CIPM as Nigeria’s apex regulatory body for the HR profession, established by law to regulate HR practice and uphold professional standards nationwide. She also referenced the recent Federal Government circular mandating certification for HR officers in the Federal Public Service, noting that several states are already domesticating the policy; a practice many private organisations have long embraced to strengthen professionalism and organisational performance.
She emphasised the Institute’s commitment to capacity development highlighting year long training events of the institute, mandatory continuous programmes, Special HR forum coming up on 23rd of July 2026 and 58th International Conference and Exhibition (ICE) renowned as the largest HR conference in Africa holding at Abuja in September 2026.
She then invited the company to participate in the upcoming Ondo State Branch Conference scheduled for 12th and 13th August 2026. The Chairman specifically requested Johnvents FMCG Limited to field panelists and consider partnership and sponsorship opportunities for the event. She also drew attention to exhibition booth opportunities available to sponsors.

Mrs. Elekwachi further encouraged the company to leverage the conference as a strategic platform to showcase the diverse products and services of its Holdings company beyond its cocoa-based and seasoning product lines, including Kolomoni Microfinance Bank, among others, to highlight the breadth of solutions and products available across the Group.
Reinforcing the invitation, the 2026 State Conference Chairman, Mrs. Natacha Abayomi, shared the conference theme: “People First: Creating Resilience Through People.” She explained that the event seeks practical insights from business leaders on building organisational resilience through human capital. The conference will feature a virtual session on 12th August and a physical session on 13th August.
Responding on behalf of Johnvents FMCG, Dr. Omotomilola Omotosho expressed appreciation for the visit and commended the Institute for its impactful work. She remarked, “When leadership is strong and effective, the entire organisation is better positioned to thrive.” She further assured the delegation that the company would explore internal opportunities and consider ways to support the conference.
Mr. Olusola Lebile delivered the vote of thanks on behalf of the CIPM Ondo State Branch Executive Committee. He expressed appreciation for the warm reception and hospitality extended by the management, commended the employee sensitisation session on work stress and psychological wellbeing witnessed during the visit, and expressed optimism for stronger collaboration between both organisations in the future.
The visit concluded with the presentation of branded-CIPM gifts and a guided tour of the company’s facilities, with particular interest in the new seasoning plant.
